Congratulations to New Readers! 10th October 2009.Stephen Bishop, Kay Butler, Margaret Hardy, Maureen Kendall, Nigel Panting, Annie Davidson, were Admitted and Licensed to the office of Reader. Patrick Cooke was Licensed upon transfer into the Diocese.

40th Anniversary of the admission of women as Readers!There were 3 simultaneous acts of worship in the three Archdeaconrys of Lincoln Diocese - on St Hildas Day, November 19th at 7.30 pm, to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of women to Reader Ministry which was celebrated on 9th May 2009.A local group prepared each act of worship. Venues:-All Saints, Gainsborough for Stow Archdeaconry attended by the Bishop of Grantham. St James, Louth for Lindsey Archdeaconry attended by the Bishop of Lincoln. St Denys, Sleaford for Lincoln Archdeaconry attended by the Arch Deacon of Lincoln.
